![]() ![]() The non-fighting scenes are well enough animated, frames don’t skip and movements don’t look choppy. The few fight scenes we’re able to enjoy are fun to watch, and well animated with smooth movements. The eyes are large like typical shoujo anime and manga, and the hair is very detailed. The art is very close to it’s manga original. The drama can be a little more melodramatic at times, as well as cliche, but overall it’s entertaining enough to keep you in for the 13 episodes. ![]() Yuki’s past is finally revealed to the viewers, and most of the DVD covers what happens as a result of that. There’s more drama, and more of a focus on the love triangle between Zero, Yuki, and Kaname. The DVD begins in the middle of the overall story and marks the beginning of the second season. Yuki is in a particularly sucky situation when she’s forced to deal with a more vampiric part of herself as well as choose between Zero or Kaname. In fact, being at Cross Academy is the only thing keeping him safe, and it’s not even guaranteed to protect him. He’s accused of the taboo of killing Shizuka Hio, a pureblood vampire. However, his return isn’t as happy as it could be. Continuing from the last season, Zero returns. Yuki Cross and Zero Cross are in the school’s disciplinary committee with duties designed to protect the day class from the night class. The night class, however, is composed completely of vampires. The day class is composed of people you would find anywhere in your daily life. Being a Kaname fan I was happy to see him come to life as a human and get to see his daughter but overall it was a good ending. The story takes place in a school composed of a day class and a night class. And maybe I would've liked to see a bit more of what happens to the other characters in the end. I think the ending was a bit rushed especially the whole afterdeath scene of Kaname with the destroying of the building and whatever. So what do you guys think of the ending? Honestly, I'm pretty content I mean she has obviously listened to her fans and made sure that Yuki ends up with Kaname and Zero and gets to share her life with both of them. Kaname is now a human and that butterfly that lands on his hand at the end represents Yuki. The younger boy is Zero and Yuki's child and he gets to meet his, you could say, stepfather. So Kaname pretty much finally gets to see his daughter.as a human. ![]() Kaname wakes up to see his daughter who calls him "the other father" as Zero was the fatherly figure she grew up with. Zero is dead as he was not a pure vampire and Yuki has happily spent her life with him. Yuki decides to revive Kaname by sacrificing herself. If you haven't read it then it is available here:Īnd if you don't understand the ending here's a little explanation (SPOILER ALERT): Now the great thing is it is OUT but the not so great thing is that this Matsuri Hino classic has finally ended. So if you don't know the last chapter of Vampire Knight just came out!. ![]()
